(Issued in 1973).
A sterling silver proof medal depicting a game of cricket at Lord's, with the pavilion in the background. On the reverse are the badges of the 17 first class county clubs at the time. The medal is neatly mounted on an envelope containing three cricket stamps, franked at Lord's on the first day of issue. With a Certificate of Authenticity. Preserved in a plastic folder.
Issued to commemorate the centenary of the County Championship.

Individual M.C.C. membership cards for seasons 1928, 1929, 1931 and 1935. Formerly the possession of F.C. Weaver, with his name entered below the fixture list. Clearly signed in ink by Weaver.
Each card opens out into a printed fixture list for the season and is clearly signed in ink by Weaver. Original red imitation leather.
F.C. Weaver (1878-1949), played cricket for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club between 1897 and 1909. He was also a notable West Country club cricketer, scoring over 35,000 runs and taking over 5,000 wickets. (Each).

A cotton handkerchief issued to commemorate the Third Test match, played at Headingley, July 16th-21st, 1981. Comprising full scores of the match, and full-length caricatures by Roy Ullyett of Ian Botham and Bob Willis. With head and shoulder portraits of the other members of the England team along bottom margin.
Size 55cms x 47cms. Creased.
England were forced to follow on before Botham scored 149 not out. Willis then took 8-43 for England to win this famous match by 18 runs.
