A facsimile reprint of the only contemporary account of the 1902 Australian cricket tour of England, with a reprint of a pre-tour brochure, and a new foreword by Sir Donald Bradman, who played cricket with some members of this team. The 1902 Australian team was one the strongest to tour England, and won the very exciting series. The team included Warwick Armstrong, Hanson Carter, Joe Darling, Syd Gregory, Clem Hill, Ernest Jones, Monty Noble, J.V. Saunders, Hugh Trumble and Victor Trumper. See Padwick 4998.
