Catalogue of an Exhibition, 1950, no. 105: '1st edition 1835. Two later editions were published, undated, but containing the laws for 1844 and 1845 respectively.' Allen, Early Books on Cricket, 1987, no. 20: 'This was Pycroft's first offering on cricket. There was a new edition in 1844 containing the revised laws of cricket, and a further one the following year.' Gaston, Bibliography of Cricket, 1895, page 11, only records the first edition of 1835. Taylor, Catalogue of Cricket Literature, 1906, page 83, only records the first edition of 1835: 'A very rare publication...'
