A grandstand ticket for the Second Test match between Australia and West Indies, played at Sydney Cricket Ground 1st-6th January 1931.

Size 11.5cms x 5.5cms. Contemporary annotations to verso, otherwise in good condition.
This was West Indies first tour of Australia. Ponsford scored 183 for Australia, who won the match by an innings and 172 runs.

A Royal Grafton china plate bearing a central portrait of Frank Woolley, encircled by bats and stumps, each containing details of one of his hundred first-class centuries. The design is completed by a border of balls and bails and edged in gold.

Diameter 23cms. Preserved in silk-lined presentation box. Good condition.
LIMITED EDITION of 500 plates. Produced to commemorate Woolley's 100th first-class century, scored in 1929. In his career Woolley made 145 first-class centuries. Woolley played for Kent between 1906 and 1938. He played 64 Test matches for England between 1909 and 1934.
