SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY THE COMPILER on the half-title. WITH A TWO PAGE SIGNED AUTOGRAPH LETTER FROM THE COMPILER laid down on the front endpaper. The only history of this Club. In his preface the compiler states that there is no evidence that the game of cricket was supported in Devonshire by any permanent Club before 18th May 1823 [when the Teignbridge Club was founded].
