8vo. 232pp. Illustrated. Original cloth in dust-wrapper.
SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, MALCOLM NASH AND J.M. PARKIN on the half-title. In 1968 Garfield Sobers made history by scoring 36 runs in a 6-ball over. This book investigates the authenticity of the cricket ball which was sold at auction in 2006 as the ball used to bowl that famous over. Nash was the bowler who was hit for six sixes by Garfield Sobers in that over, and Parkin was batting at the other end when Sobers performed this feat.
