An interesting one page signed autograph letter from A.J. Webbe to an unnamed correspondent. Headed 9 Cambridge Square, Hyde Park. Dated 6th April 1889.


...I hope you will have a most successful Bazaar in aid of your Cricket Club, for I am sure the more the game is encouraged, the better... Webbe (1855-1941) played for Middlesex between 1875 and 1900, and one Test match for England in 1879.
