Alcock, Cricket, A Weekly Record of the Game was published weekly from 1882 until 1913. In 1914 a final volume was published, edited by A.C. MacLaren, renamed: The World of Cricket, Altham, History of Cricket, 1926, page 383: 'An almost inexhaustible mine of historical information, and a complete contemporary record.'
