Diameter 27cms. Edged in gold. Good condition.
Produced to commemorate the 1973 New Zealand tour of England. The first Royal Worcester plate produced to commemorate a cricket tour of England was in 1938. The company next produced a cricket plate to commemorate the 1949 New Zealand tour of England, and this series of plates appeared regularly until 1973. This was the last of this series of cricket plates produced by Royal Worcester. Issued in very limited numbers they were presented to each member of the touring team during their visit to the factory at Worcester.
