A Royal Grafton china plate bearing a central portrait of Gooch, encircled by bats and stumps, each containing details of one of his hundred first-class centuries. The design is completed by a border of balls and bails and edged in gold.

Diameter 23cms. Preserved in silk-lined presentation box. Good condition.
LIMITED EDITION of 1,000 plates. Produced to commemorate Gooch's 100th first-class century, scored in 1992-93. In his career he made 128 first-class centuries. Gooch played for Essex between 1973 and 1997. He played 118 Test matches for England between 1975 and 1995.
